An industry-wide collaboration between the National Gamekeepers Organisation (NGO) and other leading industry experts in night shooting results in a new Night Shooting Course (NSC) for all those involved in shooting at night.
Hundreds of people each night venture out into the towns, cities and countryside to shoot at night. Some do so on a professional basis, as professional pest control operatives, others do so on a recreational basis. Some will be engaged in shooting vermin and fox and others will be shooting deer, having been granted a night licence.
Until now there has been no one consolidated course which provides training to all these individuals. In fact, alarmingly, considering the potential repercussions, for most of those who shoot at night, there has been no course at all! That is until now.
Recognising the need for comprehensive training in the field of night shooting and the current woeful lack of proper third-party accredited training, the ‘Shooting & Hunting Academy’ and ‘National Gamekeepers Organisation’ has spearheaded a new Night Shooting Course that provides online certificated training to all professional and recreational pest control operatives, fox shooters and deer managers involved in the control of vermin, fox and deer at night.
The industry wide collaboration in creating this course has included the National Gamekeepers Organisation (NGO), members of the British Pest Control Association – 360 Wildlife, Wildlife Management experts WildTrackPro, thermal drone technology specialists BH Wildlife Consultancy, leading Deer Management Training providers Jelen PWS & County Deer Stalking.
These leading industry experts have worked alongside specialists in night vision and thermal imaging equipment, that include industry leaders Hikmicro, DNT Optics, Tom’s Targets and Swarovski Optik, to create a groundbreaking Night Shooting Course that delivers the most advanced information available, on the use of thermal and night vision equipment.
Providing crucial guidance on the law surrounding night shooting and best practice training in the necessary skills and knowledge to implement safe, effective and humane control measures in both urban and rural environments, along with recognised third-party accreditation from LANTRA, this new online, assessed LANTRA Award, provides the very latest and most up-to-date certificated training to all those who shoot at night.
